That way I can bait someone into taking my open carried handgun (with an unsecure holster) and then finish the person off with my concealed carry that the bad guy will not expect.

Exactly. There are FORTY SIX STATES with open carry, and none of these things have happened. It's the same "blood in the streets" hysteria we saw when concealed carry was passed.

I carry openly at work every day and have for the last 13 years. Never, ever, ever will I care anything about carrying openly off duty. I'll take the advantage of surprise carrying concelaed 100% of the time.

I would like to hear from everybody on 1 Jan 17 and get the honest truth on who has open carry ed or not. Then we could see who all has survived the wild west shootouts in the streets, and who all has had there firearms taken away from them. I belive we would see how stupid some of these comments about open carrier are.

I love the sarcasm. I choose not to open carry. I am happy we can, but I am honestly not looking forward to seeing all of the Billy badazzes strolling through the areas I frequent. I hope those of you who don't grasp my sense of apprehension never have an issue.
