28 Nosler
I found an old post about your 28 Nosler build. I was just wondering if your still loving this gun? Could you tell me what the completed gun weighs? I have a similar build that I’m working up loads for with the 195’s. My gun does not like factory ammo. I bought some Nosler 175 ABLR but they were too hot. The bolt was sticking & at 200 they did not group well at all. Shot some 195’s out of it but the best load (grouping wise) only gave me 2850 fps. Little disappointed. You ever get to work up a 195 Berger load?

As in anything, there's a point of diminishing returns and for most it seems the 195 is that point.
I feel the 156 in the 6.5 will be the same. If you look at a ballistics chart there's little difference between it and a 140 VLD until you reach 1000 yards unless you can start it really fast.
