every year the Nikons go one sale with a big rebate. thats when i bought mine. May already be over though. I think they typically end the sale right before bow season

They are well worth looking at if you want to combine your binoculars and range finder into one piece of equipment. I never use my Leica LRF 800's any more becaus of them.
If you are in the market for a binocular or a rangefinder, you would be doing yourself a favor to look at these Leica's. I know Swarovski has them as well but my wife bought me the Leica's and I was not about to tell her I would rather have the Swaro's. Now after using them for almost a year, I would not even think about trading them.
        WyoBull,
I haven't played with the Leica's yet, but have heard good things about them. From what I've heard, they're accurate enough with some customizing of the ballistic profile. They don't perhaps have all the features of the G7 but, like I said above, the G7 is sometimes a little overkill. I've heard the glass is very good, which doesn't surprise me from Leica.

For now, I think I'm going to stick with what I've got. At some point, I'll drop some more cash and get a combo unit purely for the convenience factor.

          I need a g7....

I may end up selling my swarovski. I just want the g7 to calculate angle on long rifle shots.

Not exactly sure what you are looking for with angle calculations but the Leica's calculate the angle of your shot and give you the effective yardage automatically within the internal ballistics program.
You can check it out on their website.

Sig Kilo 2400ABS without the shadow of a doubt the Best Buy for the money. Compact "handheld" bowhunting size. Applied Ballistics program give you MOA or MIL dope. Configures all environmentals, comes with wind gauge and blietooths to Applied Ballistic phone app and ranges out to 2,400. Gives you reads to over a mile instantly in any conditions. I have had two Nikons and both were disappointing.
I had a 600 that wouldn't take a reading past 400 yards and currently use a Riflehunter 1000 that has never taken a reading past 600 yards.
