I would go with Savage.

But between those 2 I would take Tikka hands down. Remington has some big time quality control issues. I bought a Remington 700 CDL last year and got caught up in that trigger recall. If you buy a Remington add $100 dollars to the price because you will want to drop a Timney trigger in it.

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. Doing some checking on the stocks and will look at the CTR for sure.
