Unless someone told them, last time I went to ikea they only had a 30.06 sign on their exit door.

We really shouldnt inform these companies that their signs arent legal. Tell them you arent happy that they have posted. Boycott if you want or carry anyways.

That's why I've never heard of it. It's a gimmick store.

            You're completely missing the point.

            Don't feed the bears.

I loved Sprouts. Their produce is second to none in my little outpost south of Dallas. I spent lots of $ in there . . . until they posted the 30.06.

I respect a business' right to their own policy. However, unless you are naive, you must follow the revenue trail. If the corporate bear has deemed it necessary to post a 30.06 sign, then follow the flow to their government representatives.

By posting 30.06, Sprouts has advertised that their corporate management is opposed to the legal carry of concealed weapons.

Sprouts is not a Mom & Pop operation. Their locations are spreading. And with that spread becomes more $ in the hands of the anti lobby.

So, if you shop there . . . you are putting $ in the pockets of the anti-gun faction that is seeking to undercut our rights.

Again, Don't feed the bears . . . (or the bear huggers).

I love that this so-called "Christian" nation is being divided by guns. LOL.

              Anyone else see the irony?

In Houston it was on thier entrance. It was on the side of the rotating door. Would have missed it if I hadn't been looking.

I guess I don't get it. It's a private(not sure if they went public yet) business and they have the right to post what they want. Agree or disagree. Trust me I like my guns just as much as the next guy on here, but if they don't want it in their store than I will respect that. Let's find something bigger to champion, like finding a good presidential candidate.

I think you also have realize this could be beyond Sprouts corporate culture and more dictated by their legal or risk management departments. Most the time, large companies leaders have no idea of these type policies.

I'm shocked that so many people on here are surprised that a store that specializes in anything "organic" is anti-concealed carry. I'd bet the majority of them are.

The only letters obstructed by the mat are the Spanish ones. And it all depends on the angle you are standing. In court you take all pics at an angle where the tan wall is the backdrop and your argument is invalid. Coming from a background in LE and now at a law firm if I were arguing the case I wouldn't use the lettering as my argument. Id use the wooden shelving that's blocking half of the sign.

Legal arguments do a lot of things but make sense usually isn't one of the things they do. As prosecutor it is this simple. "ladies and gents of the jury, how are you today? That's great, we are here to discuss one thing and one thing only, blah blah blah. Argument on how you broke the law. Now ladies and gentlemen clear glass such as this (showing a pic from an angle where all tan or white in background. What color comes to mind as a contrasting color? Maybe black, what contrasts this light tan or white background better than Black." argument over you get charged.

On the other side of that use the large wooden shelving blocking the sign. Your argument is there is a large wooden shelf blocking your ability to recognize the sign, now you win and no charges.

I am not saying the letters are the best color just that out of the available arguments the shelving is the better of the two.

Yes, you've completely missed the point. No one here disagrees with their rights to post a 30.06. The point is, people can also exercise their right to choose to shop there.

The bottom line is money. The more people that shop there, then the more prolific 30.06 signs will become across all stores, not just Sprouts. However, if you send your money elsewhere then the 30.06 signs will slowly disappear because corporations only care about the bottom line.
