To be fair.. if he is like me he was going to do that stuff to any Tupperware rifle he bought anyway. I can see the value of starting with a lower bottom line.
Not sure who the questions were directed to, but sadly, I've not had a chance yet to get this rifle out to shoot it. I've still yet to shoot it (put the stock on right after buying it from a friend) so I won't be able to say how the new stock affects accuracy.
Sealing the inside of the stock isn't a bad idea. I hadn't thought of that. I'll have to look into it and see if it needs it. I still have just a tiny bit of fitting to do.

I just put a Boyds stock and Boyds stainless trigger guard on a Savage Axis. Changed the whole feel of the rifle.
It dropped right in with no issues at all.
