Yeah once the cashed my check it was 3-4 weeks before I was contacted. The agent came out a few days later for the interview/ inspection. Took another 2 weeks before getting the actual license.

so, meeting with ATF agent went well. Alot of information to gather all at once but I took alot of notes and he gave me some useful info papers to help out.
So, from the horses mouth. Like some have said. I can currently without an FFL do a stock or a slide right now with no issue. Where the issue comes up. The frame, the lower or receiver, a complete long gun (rifle). What I am considered doing, IS gunsmithing on those parts mentioned and it must be logged.
Should receive my license in 4 weeks!
