My wife has had great success taking deer with 223 win. And even took a 200 lb hog last weekend. Shot in the ear. Shooting Hornady 55 gr. Soft points.

Kill them all the time with a 222. Shoot all doe's in the head.

So I am assuming that as long as I stay with the 60-80gr loads I should be fine. Anyone have any other input? Also does anyone have any experience using 75gr Amax for hunting?
