well i am having a terrible time trying to get the 62 grain barnes tsx to shoot to my standards. best i can do is 1/2 inch at 100 yards and that is with the lowest powder charge. It seemed that for every 1/2 grain of powder the group got a 1/2 inch larger. I am going to try to load up some of the hornady 55 grain SP's and some of the 60 grain V-MAX to see how they do? Does anyone else have this problem with the barnes bullet? The rifle is a 1 in 8 twist with 20 inch barrel.

I have found the Barnes to not play well with others. What I mean is, it shoots well if I clean the bore, then foul it with a couple Barnes shots. If I shoot lead, I have to clean it again. Not ideal.

Shot a doe with a 64gr winchester power point out of my AR at 100 yards this season. I was surprised at the amount of damage it did. Lung shot right behind the shoulder.

She ran about 75 yards. But they run even if I make that same shot with my .270 using 150gr.
