Don't be. The G42 is a fantastic little 380.

I suspect there will be a 9mm version along shortly. And the demand will be HUGE.

Yes, the demand will be huge! I'll be in line with cash in hand! I've never been a Glock fan until I got the chance to shoot one and have it for an extended period of time. Now I have 2, and carry one of them daily. I haven't went and purchased the G42 since I only want to have one centerfire pistol caliber that I won't reload for, and for economic purposes, that's 9mm. I can still find it for roughly $11 per 100.

I have to admit, that IF and WHEN Glock does make a single stack in a 9mm, I will buy one, even though it is a sissy round

Freedom Munitions, once you break down the cost of a box of 100 when buying in 250 or 500rds of bulk. Hopefully, my math from memory is correct. All I know is that its the cheapest I found, and its not worth the hassle of reloading that cartridge. 40cal is barely worth it, and since its a nightstand gun, it gets shot 3-5x a year at most. 45acp definitely is as I shoot it weekly, and 10mm is a no brainer to get maximum results, same with 44 Rem Mag.

I will take my handloads with cast boolits for $0.05 a trigger pull. Made the new barrel for the Glock easy to justify.

I switch between the G27 gen 4 and Kahr CM9. The Kahr is easier to conceal in the summer and the Glock gets more travel time in the winter...when I can wear more laundry and cover up MY girth.

When the Gen4s came out I got a lot more interested in Glocks. My fingers are just a little too short for the others. The weight savings over my Hi Powers is significant.

Nah, just have no lease, so shooting is taking the place of hunting activities this year. I find reloading to reduce the stress of my new job at work, and its still something I can take my entire family out to do. My 10yr old is getting deadly with a 22 pistol and my 5 year old will not allow a single piece of brass to disappear.....
