Pistols are small... Safes are big. No need to just own one or two of em.... Get a whole bunchheck at the price of some of the glock police trade ins you can keep one in every bag you own.

Agreed, I also own both. I just finally decided I wanted to carry more rounds with less weight most of the time. My g35 with full mag and two spares adds up to 46 rounds, whereas the same load with my 1911 is only 25 rounds. I haven't put them on scales or anything, but the Glock and two spares feels lighter than my all steel 1911 by itself.
Add to that the ability to add a light to the Glock and it makes it even more appealing since I work at night a lot.
On the police trade ins, I keep watching for the gen3 models to hit the shelves at GT's. Lately all I've seen is the gen2 from Bexar County, but I know they are currently trading in gen3's for gen4's, so the 3's should be for sale son.Last edited by txfireguy2003; 09-07-2014, 09:29 PM.

I've heard the same on the gen 3 g22's... I just sold my gen 2 g22 in hopes it happens soon... However I haven't missed it yet as the g23 always feels better in my hand and shoots better... I may not replace the g22.

I will say the comptac Minotaur holster is the best holster ive ever owned for tucakable IWB as it helps me forget the gun is there too.

A man can NEVER have to many guns. Only need more safes.
