    Winner, winner!

I've always shot top first , never any problems.

Every clay shooter I know uses the bottom first using the most open choke for the closest target.

Less recoil for target acquisition on doubles....2nd shot being further out

Not sure this is open or debate with all the so called sperts and classes attended being the norm...never heard of using the top first unless a the shooting conditions require the furthest target to be taken, which is usually a one shot situation.

With modified on bottom and full on top. It depends.

For most people out hunting, it won't make a hill of beans difference. If you were shooting competition where you had to take two pretty fast shots, then it might make a little difference depending on how that particular gun recoils. That said, most competitors do shoot bottom barrel first, me included. For your application, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I shoot bottom first. My old Citori trap model has more porting on bottom barrel anyhow.

depends on chokes and distance of shot

They put mine on sideways. I shoot left first.

I shoot bottom first and have a modified choke, less felt recoil. full choke on top, with better line of sight. works best for me.
