O/U: Bottom or Top Barrel first?

Every clay shooter I know uses the bottom first using the most open choke for the closest target.
Less recoil for target acquisition on doubles....2nd shot being further out
Not sure this is open or debate with all the so called sperts and classes attended being the norm...never heard of using the top first unless a the shooting conditions require the furthest target to be taken, which is usually a one shot situation.

For most people out hunting, it won't make a hill of beans difference. If you were shooting competition where you had to take two pretty fast shots, then it might make a little difference depending on how that particular gun recoils. That said, most competitors do shoot bottom barrel first, me included. For your application, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
