JMHO i wouldn't feel right selling it if it didn't function right. Besides if the barrel is that worn failure due to fatigue isn't far away. You dont want the gun to break right after you sell it.

Got it, I really think the Glock just needs to be broke down and cleaned. Shooting out one of these guns would be rare in my opinion. Your assumption is that gun is damaged, my is more focused on his loss of accuracy. If it was damaged, I personally would repair it. Selling it would be wrong.

To the OP. Clear the gun. Rack the slide and pull the trigger slowly. Also remember to point the gun in the safe direction. How does the trigger feel. Glide smooth or resistance? I would look at flushing it out and relubing the trigger bar, etc.

I start out at 5 yards working on form and mechanics...Once Im hitting the circle at 5 I back out to 25 yards and try to maintain decent groups (for me)... I them move into 10-15 yards. After shooting at 25, 10-15 seems easy and my confidence it usually up and I don't jerk the trigger for push the shot too bad.

Most pistol rounds don't shoot hot enough to "shoot out" a barrel. More likely it is the wear on the other parts not giving you a consistent barrel alignment or possibly cleaning wear or damage on the crown.

More than likely you have build up in you barrel. Glock's are turrible about it.

            Ever shot lead thru it?

Google "copper brillo pad for cleaning glock barrel".

I was one of them that needed to go back to the basics and get the fundamentals down again.
Everyone should shoot 25 yard bulls eye targets now and then; it can be humbling.

Shooting out a Glock barrel is near impossible. Not saying it can't be done but not by the average shooter. I would clean the heck out of the pistol. Check the sights as well. It is possible that they are lose. Again not likely but possible. After all that just get a new barrel. They are not that much, for sure cheaper than getting a new gun.

Asked my uncle this and he said most competition shooters he shoots with change around 80,000 rounds. Kinda doubt you have anywhere near that thru it. They don't consider it broke in to start tweaking it till they shoot 3-4K rounds.

I installed the kkm barrel in my G22C today (the kkm isn't ported so now it's officially not a "c" any longer). What a sweet shooting barrel! One ragged hole today. Fed her 100 rounds without a hiccup. Accuracy is awesome!!! Admittedly I bought my G22C used and it had been rode pretty hard but I was with you guys thinking there's no way you can shoot out a pistol barrel.

Well I have one that's shot out. Lol. I've put a Lil over 2k rounds through her in 11 months... in that time it went from decent to who the hell knows where it's gonna shoot? I can guarantee I've tried 10 different kinds of ammo, cleaners, solvents etc. Anyway, just know it's possible maybe not probable but possible.

Now all I need is for my ghost trigger connectors to come in and hit the range again! (As you can see I shoot a bunch). 1-3 times a week... Doesn't help that my range is 3 minutes from my house.
