You've got kids older than 21? Youre OLD, no wonder you're crotchety.

As to who has to sign in front of the notary, anyone listed as a trustee has to sign. For example my wife & I are trustees, my kids are beneficiaries. My wife and I had to sign, my kids didn't even though some of the are 21 or older.
Are your kids over 21 allowed to possess the items?

        Hmmmmmm. That's a good question.

Since they really have no use to use them without me being around, it's never really come up.

I will have to ask Sean about that.

EDIT: I just talked to Sean and no, beneficiaries cannot be in possession of NFA items without a trustee present.

In a trust, what happens if a member of the trust commits a felonious crime? Is he/she simply removed from the trust or is the trust disbanded??

Aren't there issues with access and not being a trustee if they are stored in a safe in your home and neither you nor your wife was home with said children? This would only matter if said children have access to/combination of the safe, I believe?

Yep, he's not your typical lawyer.
