Awesome info and thanks for sharing. If I'm understanding what he saying, the hypothesis is that some of the IR light is flooding into the photon lens and decreasing the quality of the image?

Haha thanks! We're at it again tonight but just trying to get a big one. We found a sounder already so we're trying to see if there's a big one in it.
They're all bedded up in hay and stuff to stay warm so if yall have places with hay rings that's where they are.

It's really tough sneaking up on pigs when everything has a layer of ice on it. But we've still managed to kill one

Yep the snow and ice is making it tough.... had three in the wheat but couldnt get close.

Haha, The snow helped out on tracking one big sow we shot and she ran into the brush and piled up.
Haven't been hunting in a few nights, been too busy with college

Had two clients in to hunt tonight and ended up killing 4. On the last herd the pigs were confused where to run and made the mistake of running right towards us. Got to draw my carry gun and put it to use. First time in a few years to kill one with only a pistol.

In the dark and up close with a pistol always gets the blood pumping . Congrats!
