    Sbr build

    It's now legal to assemble. My stamp arrived last week while on spring break in Colorado. My stamp for the can should be in any day now. The gun is a 9.5 in 300blackout. The barrel is a Wilson. The gas system is pistol. The bolt is nickel boron. The trigger is a McCormick. The forend is a Lancer 9in carbon fiber this is octagonal and really comfy. Should get out and shoot it by Friday.

        sweet Chris...i cannot decide if I'm going to go a short dedicated sub like yours or go 12.5" & shoot the 110's as fast as I can & have the subs as a secondary application.

        ~~~~~~~~
        will be touching base with you soon...congrats.
            Nice build. I know your hand guard is shorter than the length of the barrel, but would a suppressor fit under the hand guard? I was looking at that one and they said it was 1.8" between the flats. I was thinking of this hand guard for my 12.5" SBR with a longer guard, just curious if my can would fit....
                The suppressor will fit under the had guard. The look is great. Two issues for me though. First they get really really hot and the heat transfers into the hand guard. Secondly the suppressor is a quick detach and I want to be able to slap it on two other guns.
                    My cans are thread on and I'm trying to make a light weight SBR with a long hand guard. I bought the 6.8 with a 12.5" Brux barrel. I'm having to wait for my stamp, but this is the current configuration. I'm wanting to change it.
                              I have very little tied up in the gun honestly. Most of the parts were either in my inventory, or bartered for. The only parts I have bought are the Nordic stripped upper, upper parts kit, gas tube and block, and the tan colored furniture and the Wilson barrel. Cash on the gun is probably $400.
