That's awesome. I love that stock. Does anyone know if anyone makes a 6.5 creed barrel for a encore?

For anything TC check with Ed @ Ed's Contenders in OK City; he is the goto guy for TC products. His shop is a little strip mall - wall-to-wall barrels. At times can be a little hard to reach - he has a "regular" job and does his shop on the side. I've had little luck w/email, but if you give him a call and he doesn't answer, he will return your call. Doesn't keep website updated, but it does have all his contact info. He has a vast array of both factory, custom and hard to get collector barrels, etc. I can almost guarantee, there would have not been a 5 mo wait on a 30-30 barrel???

Ed specializes in Thompson Contender barrels and accesories, as well as new, used and collectable frames. Trades welcome.

I've never had a shoulder stocked contender, but I sure love my pistolas! My go to gun back when I shot deer with that sort of thing was a super 16" 7-30 Waters... Longest shot was a head shot on a doe at 196 yards... 100 yards was sub 1/2"... got a bunch of 'em, but never even shoot 'em anymore... sad in a way. My .223 is a tack driver too, but it's a 14" barrel.

            New contender stock

Here a few pics fully assembled, now I just have to scramble and get her sighted in before Thursday. I would hate to give the boy a gun at the deer lease that wasn't ready to hunt.

Very nice! I'm sure with some spire point hand loads of some kind, that thing will rock! Might give the Hornady Leverevolutions a try too.

Already got em! I'm going to shoot these and some 150 and 170 gr core loks. If I was going to keep the gun I would load up some 125 grain noslers.
