Man I like those boxes. I remember them from way back. I kick myself for throwing some away about 15 years ago. I love the red and green look. And white and yellow.
I was hoping you'd see the pic... Don't make me pm you this link.
Nothing really. But the .264 had a bad rep of burning up barrels back in the day due to hot factory loads and too light of bullets. Besides, I'm not gonna re-sight in for 140s and 100s.
As long as the brass isn't corroded and the shells look in good shape overall, I'd say shoot 'em up.
This is just a small sample of some older ammo I have....Most of the boxes have ammo in them....Me and the G-son shot a 100 rounds of 22 ammo a while back at turtles....My daughter asked how much it was....$2.39 for 100 rounds of Remington....It was from Western Auto..so it probably was'nt cheap at the time....
Dale, as long as the primers arent loose in the pockets, the projectiles arent loose in the neck nor turn, and no deep gouges in the casing, you are safe to shoot them bad boys.

with hand loads. Factories are not gonna be shooting at maximum fps.
