A regular kitchen oven was the original plan. But we ended up investing in a decent sized propane smoker that way we can hang rifle/ shot gun barrels.

It's not as bad as you'd think. Especially with the great durability of Cerakote. The above type job (2 colors) would run $115.


Manufacturers like Sig Sauer, kimber, Colt, nighthawk, and others actually offer models with a Cerakote finish straight from the factory.

The US marines sidearm has a Cerakote finish. It really is a great product. Much more than just paint.
