if he doesn't know better than not to sight in his gun how can you trust him to even be safe or shoot within ranch rules ect???? just sayin!

Just have the shooter bench test/sight it in himself. Like said above use it as a learning session on how to sight in a rifle and to never take an unproven weapon in to the field. I say thats a very important thing for a new shooting to learn as well as learning how to sight in iron sites.
This guy likes his and seems to shoot pretty good and with inexpensive off the shelf ammo. Hunting on a budget = hunting and nothing wrong with that in my book.
