Lol. That's a sweet set up you've got there, man. And for what sounds like a heck of a deal. Gotta love the GS

Quite well! I wasn't sure what to expect form a "mil spec" trigger

Looks good. My OCD was driving me crazy with those first few pics and that work bench.

Mine wasn't much better a few days ago.

If you're going to be shooting competition you'll be ditching that much sooner than later.

The purpose of this build was to build on a budget and get the best I could with that set amount. I won't be doing any real upgrading to it so to speak. I will most likely build another with the good stuff later down the road.

I can assure you matts bench was worst before he cleaned it up!! He text me one those pics earlier and the cleanliness of his bench was the first thing that I commented on! After my initial shock I enjoyed the gun ****!

Great looking build! Who makes that muzzle break?

Nordic Industries makes the muzzle break

This being my first build, I'm not an expert in this field.

Having said that I will try to answer your question.

My handguard is 15"(rifle length) on an 18" barrel. On a carbine I believe all you need is a free floating handguard and a low profile gas block.
