Range Finder

I've heard just the opposite on the Leica. A have a couple of friends that have them and consistently range animals to 1500+.

But I still would like to have the G7.

I hear all kinds of wild claims. Take them with a grain of salt. I have not heard about them; I own one; let me tell you not my experience at all. I have a friend with one also and his will not get close to the above claim either on any day. Don't misunderstand me the Leica is a good rangefinder for the money; just will not perform consistently as to the above claim. Not saying one of your friends don't have one that will but more than one? Gonna have to see that to believe. Kinda like Bigfoot every body has heard about them but no one can show me one.

Then send it back. My swaro and several freinds leicas range deer well over 1000 consistently and often. They will handle it just fine. If yours wont, send it back.

ok not wanting to hijack ..but got a question..what are the best dirt cheap rangefinders...ya know..so i can still feed my dog and kids,,while hunting to feed my dog and kids...lol...no seriously.

I got it! It is a 1600 CRF.... Not the B, but for $300 I'm not going to complain!
