Reckon some folks think green screen info will trump DPS or handbook info.

These threads are always entertaining. Most dont know what the laws are but post up anyway. Get on DPS website and read the handbook before you get yourself in trouble or give false information and get someone else in trouble.

Jared's jewelry store at Baybrook has a 30.06 sign posted. Walked up with my wife to pick out her Christmas gift and turned around and got back in the truck when I saw the sign. I DID NOT go to Jared's..........

Cinemark has the stupid "no guns sign" that is about three inches tall at the ticket booth, but no legal signs at the entrance.

Life Time Fitness in Sugar Land just recently posted up a big 30.06 sign at the entrance. Previously they just had some small signage at the entrance that wasnt 30.06

^ There were a few on there that surprised me. Does anyone know what's up with the Perot Museum? I have never seen any signs at the main building or the fair park location.

Same thing at the Jarred's at the Woodlands mall, fortunately they had a competitor close by that wasn't bothered by my handgun, now they have my money.

Is that a listed law or court case?

I can't find the term every entrance or even just "entrance" in either the Penal Code under 30.06 or in the Government Code Chapter 411 dealing with CHL.

I am not saying that it is wrong but wondering where the info is coming from.

So technically if a sign is not legal according to the state laws you can carry in right?
