    question on supressors

ok... looks like my gun trust will be set up this week.

    Question... total ignorance here.

i'm wanting 1 supressor for multiple platforms. want to be able to shoot my 308, 223, 22 and 17hmr through it.

will a supressor that is made for a 308 work well on a 22, or should i be specifically buying a rimfire can?

    input needed asap.

    308 & 223, yes. I recommend the YHM 7.62 Ti QD

You will need a separate can for rimfire. I recommend the SWR Spectre II.

.223 through .308 no problem but buy a separate can for the .22

YHM titanium QD 7.62 as said above.
Then look into Templar tactical or Thompson machine for a rimfire can.

On the rim fire can check and mane sure it is rated for 22 mag 17 hmr.
The ones rated for 22lr full auto fire are generally considered to handle 22mag and 17 as we'll. but double check with the specs of the can

Can't help with any big cans but after researching and talking to numerous people I decided on a sparrow ss for my 22 can. This is the first one Ive ordered

            Ordered mine today.

Expecting to have it in my hot little hands by the end of March.

The issue with rim fire calibers is the non-jacketed bullets are dirty and they need to be disassembled and cleaned. These .30 cal suppressors can be user disassembled and may work fine on a rim fire, I would call them and ask if I were you. Another thing I like about them is you can order different end caps to fit different thread patters, rather than adapters, which I find a bit ghetto.

Only problem is they are a little large and heavy, if you are shooting off a bipod or bags it wouldn't matter but I wouldn't want to walk through the woods popping squirrels with 26 oz hanging off my muzzle.

Ordered today? So you think March of 2014?

May be more like march 2015.

Long run time now I'm on 10months for my two.

I went with the Aac sdn 6.

That's what most of my buddies have and they all really like them.

I sent my paper work off in october so looks like I will be waiting till most likely next deer season

Also I would not shoot this on a 22 due to the dirtiness of a rimfire round. I would get a dedicated 22 can. For 223 and up to 308 the sdn6 is awesome

I've been eyeing the 762 Specwar real hard. I'm considering ordering this one.

Everyone don't forget to do the e-file now, the waits supposedly 3 months.

Just got a form 1 back. Took 11 months.
My SS YMH 7.62 works very well with 223. Weights a ton. Get the titanium can.

It deffinantly does cut down on time I got all excited about the 3 months but that's a bunch of bull. I talked to the silencer shop and a few other class 3 dealers and they haven't heard of anything that quick. I think the deal on Nfa tracker was just a goof or somebody knows somebody lol
