Rem 700 5R detachable mag upgrade?

I'm wanting to change out the bottom metal on my 700 5R to a detachable magazine set up. What do you guys recomend? I want a simple drop in and only need a 5 round mag. Rifle has the OEM H&S stock on it.

and includes pillars

is your rifle SA or LA ?

I went with the SA Stealth DM bottom metal for my 300 BO and 6BR

if you have a LA you will need correct size BM

one other thing, my personal preference is single shot , I do not use magazines with my DM

I use a Bob Sled loading magazine that fits perfectly flush with the bottom metal and is machined from delrin

I’m thinking of ordering the PTG bolt in BDL for my 5r but they only offer a 5 rd. mag...The BDL bolt in requires no inletting on a standard BDL stock.

Built mine with a Newman Precision dbm system. Ive been well pleased with it so far.

The guy who makes them does them for the Israeli army and does over runs on his orders for them so he can sell them a lot cheaper than most others.

I have a PTG BDL drop in and it DID NOT drop in. I have a B&C A3 stock and had to inlet the stock some to get to fit. It also will not cycle rounds. The bolt rides over the top of the shell. The feed lips on the mag does not match the receiver.

One 66, I've got the H&S stock not a B&C. I'm sold on the PTG I hope it will drop into the H&S. I'm ordering tomorrow. Thanks for all the help guys.
