    Guns are easy. If you changed 1 thing and the accuracy went to crap its that 1 thing.

    Change 1 thing at a time to problem solve. I agree with you, put the old stock back on it and shoot it. Also like you said oiled screws will over torque at the same specs as a none oiled screw, but I dont think that is your problem.

    One time I did this and chased a problem with a stock around... ends up I forgot to torque the action screws, I put them in hand tight and never got around to torquing them.

    I also suggest Skim bedding the new stock. I guarantee it will solve your stock problem if done right, the process to DIY is easy and very affordable. If you want to DIY heres a step by step guide: http://discussions.texasbowhunter.co...d.php?t=294109

      your current B&C stock inletting looks like this. I doubt you have contact on the recoil lug, and action does not have 100% contact

      the aluminum block adds to rigidity yet your action is probably sitting on high spots and low spots .






      it should resemble this for optimum accuracy
