So I guess that means I can't shoot 65 gr Sierras in my 1:9 twist AR?.. :-( what are the dangers of a bullet that weight in a 1:9 barrel?

Usually keyholing or tumbling to the target as the bullet loses stability.

I would try them on paper first. Some 1/9 twist barrels will shoot them ok.

I just got some Hornady Match 75gr BTHP. I can't wait to drop something with these.

I have no experience hunting with the .223 or 5.56, yet, but I would think for body shots the heaviest, mushrooming bullet that shoots well out of your AR would be the best.

I use the 55gr SP from Honady. Drops them dead in head or shoulder.

i have killed hogs with 55 tsx, 62 sierra gamekings and now loading hornady 75gr BTHP match pills.

My 1:9 shoots the heavy bullets just fine

check out Lehigh defense. I saw them at the NRA show. Their bullets are pricey, but if they do what they claim, I will be worth it. I'm going to try the subsonic this year.
