Get a super bolt or the complete bcg with it. H will make sure its head spaced correctly.
H stands behind his work.
6.8forums.com will be your new friend
My rail was actually the first one released. He had mentioned thinking about making one, and I just happen to have an order pending so i said i wanted one. He said it may take a while longer. I waited for it. He made a few other 12's and 15's while he had the machine set up.Last edited by WKH2213; 04-07-2013, 08:14 PM.

The .300 Blackout is the cartridge of choice right now for a couple of reasons.
The super sonic Blackout pushes a 125 grain bullet at speeds that make it equivalent to the AK or SKS.
As such, it penetrates cover much better than the .223 and it works just as well out of the shorter barrelled rifles that the 5.56/.223 give up much too in the way of performance.
In the subsonic/suppressed mode, it is superior to most other cartridges due to using a 220 grain bullet with a much better ballistic coefficient than most pistol rounds previously used. It is more accurate, hits much harder and can be very quiet with the right combination.
It can be used on any AR with few if any modifications.
The .300 BLK is a true dual use cartridge, thus its acceptance by many.
The 6.8 basically falls between 5.56 and 7.62.

While I agree on some of your info, the 6.8 is better at distance than the 300
And the 6.8 was designed to fill the gap between 556 and the 762 NATO (308) not the 762x39

This is all that matters to me:
Full power 115-125 grain ammunition matches the ballistics of the 7.62x39mm AK, and eclipses 5.56mm with much higher-mass projectiles for a more dramatic effect on the target. Or choose subsonic cartridges for optimal use with a sound suppressor - 220 grain Sierra OTM (open-tip match) bullets vastly outperforms a 9mm MP5-SD in penetration and long range accuracy.
At 300 meters, 300 BLK has 16.7% more energy than 7.62x39mm. Max effective range, using M4 military standards for hit probability, is 440 meters for a 9 inch barrel, and 460 meters for a 16 inch barrel. 300 BLK from a 9 inch barrel has the same energy at the muzzle as a 14.5 inch barrel M4, and about 5% more energy at 440 meters - even though the barrel is much shorter.
I love 30-30's maybe that's my crutch.Last edited by Chad C; 04-07-2013, 09:02 PM.

6.8 SPC is my choice for a hunting AR, shooting pigs. It outperforms the 300 blackout at every hunting distance. However the 300 is more versatile and would be my choice if u are going to invest in a suppressor. I shot my buddies 300 suppressed / subsonic and was instantly smitten. However, don't let he cool factor get in the way of the pure ballistics. Unless your going to spend the extra $1000 on a suppressor 6.8 is the way to go.
