Odd, I never considered any Glock to be ugly. Glocks broke the mold and a lot of weapons today that people swear by are clones with a few adjustments.

I carry my G27 in .40 every single day. Great gun. Never an issue with it.
The G3's didn't fit my hand, but the G4's are sweet shooters.

I love my 23. I shoot IDPA with it. The 40 doesn't seem to have much more muzzle flip to me than the 9.

I would trust it to protect my life. My elderly father and I took ccw class years ago. For some reason pop got completely un-nerved at the qualifying and could not qualify with his Ruger. He borrowed my 27 and shot a grapefruit sized 50 rds having fired exactly one mag prior.
