    Glock owners help me....

I have never owned one and have the oppurtunity to trade for a Glock 27 compact 40 lnib. Is this a good weapon? It has a ghost trigger kit installed, but comes with stock trigger parts. It will serve as a carry weapon. Wanting to know the pros and cons of this pistol. Have to make a decision by this afternoon.

    Thanks in advance!

The glock 27 is amazing. I myself love the glock trigger. I had a ghost installed right after I got my 21 and put the stock parys back in shortly after. Only thing I changed on mine was the slide lock, slide release and guide rod. I just got a G30 and will probably do the sane to it.

I have a G27 and I love it. I just went through TUFFBROADHEADS CEH1 class with mine and had zero issues. Tuff also just helped me install (he did it and I watched) a ghost trigger kit as well. I say get it.

If it fits your hand go for it, the shorter grip gives some people with larger hands problems.

I have the 27 for a CCW and I have to admit that I love it. Yes, it does have a smaller grip but remember, this is a self defense weapon, not a target pistol. It's made to be small and get someone off of you RIGHT NOW YESTERDAY. I would say my hands are on the larger size, I just tuck my pinkie finger underneath the mag well and fire the weapon.
You aren't buying it to shoot all day, every day so don't overthink the " I have big hands" thing.
I've taken mine to the range and had no problems with accuracy on a man sized silhouette out to 15-20yds.

I have one, and it's a great gun. The Glock grip (any size pistol) doesn't fit my hand the way I'd like it to, but that's the only complaint I have about a Glock. Well, that and they're butt ugly. But as long as you keep it concealed, that doesn't matter.

Seriously, they're awesome guns. The .40 has more muzzle flip than a 9mm does, but that is the case with any pistol, not just the Glock. It hits the target a little harder than a 9mm does too though.

Thanks for the input guys. The looks have always kept me away, never liked an ugly weapon. Like having a ugly girlfriend, she will get the job done but your ashamed to bring her out on the town He said the mags had pinky extensions so it should make for a better grip. Im debating trading an xd subcompact 9mm, hope I dont regret it.......

Odd, I never considered any Glock to be ugly. Glocks broke the mold and a lot of weapons today that people swear by are clones with a few adjustments.

I had never wanted one because they were ugly either.... THEN I shot one... bought one the next time I found one in my price range.

Get it... if you dont like it you can resale it easy... great gun, and great resale value!

You can get a magazine extension to fix this issue.

It's not a weapon that you will aim. Ghost trigger is a nice addition and you can bet on it going boom everytime you pull the trigger.

Good self defense weapon not a surgical weapon by any means.

If your going to get a mag extension then just get a G23...
And yes, I love my G19!!

I have a couple G23 mags for my G27. I have a mag sleeve on them to extend the grip. The sleeves are curved a little on the back, so they're a little more ergonomic than a regular G23 (or G19) grip. Then I still have the option of putting the regular G27 mags in or a G27 mag with a pinky extension (I have a couple of both). It gives you lots of options that way - kinda like having 3 pistols in 1. If I decide to keep it, I'll probably get a .357 Sig barrel for it. Then I'd have 6 pistols in 1.

I personally had the G22. Freakin Awesome Pistol!! It was accurate. Fit my hand well. Smooth also! I traded it for a Sig that had a decock cause I was afraid the fiancé might kill me or someone she didn't mean to...Reallllllly miss the Glock tho.
