I will note the DOD supplies USCG with munitions..

But I will put things into some retrospect...in reguards to the first 450 million rounds they purchased from ATK last year. DHS got the idea to consolidate interagency purchases for more leverage in purchase power. If I remember right DHS has 90 agencies that fall under its umbrella, including FLECTC training center. I have heard that they cover somewhere around 135,000 armed officers.. not to mention a fact I just learned ALL contractors going outbound to do firearms instruction under contract via DOD/DOJ have to attend a 10 day firearms course. From what I have heard and read FLECTC used in the area of 11 million rounds in one year just covering basic training for agents.

As far as the 450 million rounds....it's a contract over the next 5 years with a MAXIMUM of 450 million rounds. You need to include all the facts not just the ones which keep people stirred up. I'm pretty sure you read the whole article!

There's no theory needed here. They can't get guns banned legally, so they are spending huge amounts of OUR money to buy up all the supply of guns and ammo so that we can't have them.

Because the start of the thread was concerning a HUGE parts order and the fact is the parts are not needed that often, so in my opinion is was a huge waist of resources that could be used elsewhere.......

As well as the rest of the big orders they have placed in the last year..nothing spooky just a huge waist of money..
