Also when you are told you may or may not get a product for awhile you raise your price on what you have so you can pay your bills until your products comes in if it even does do.
I buy from them on some things and other things I don't if I don't like the price I shop somewhere else.
If a company buys over priced items from suppliers then all they are doing Is making the situation worse IMO.... The way I see it, if we don't buy over prices items they will lower the prices to make the sales! Magpul isn't charging these suppliers $80 a mag.... Our store still gets them at the same price we always have. The suppliers that raised their price are no longer getting our business! These are choice we have to make everyday. Do we buy the over priced ammo, then put our mark up on it? Nope we would rather not have it on our shelves! The real question is will people remember that we didn't gouge or whatever you want to call it? Prolly not! They will always go where ever than can find it cheaper... It's really a lose lose for us small guys!

So your telling us (uneducated) that everyone else selling the same stuff they are is taking a loss on these products? Talk about not having a clue!!! Do you work for ctd???

From what I've seen the stuff that they've marked up excessively isn't easy to find. So there aren't many people selling the same stuff. For example, the magpuls are mucho expensive at CTD but I haven't seen many anywhere else. Low supply equals high price. On the other hand I've seen plenty of .45 ammo and bought some just the other day at CTD for like 17 bucks. Not outrageous at all IMHO. Maybe it's just the stuff I look at, but it seems to me the expensive stuff is out of stock everywhere else. Correct me if I am wrong. On the other hand, if this stuff is available elsewhere for cheaper then everyone should buy it for the cheaper price which will eventually bring CTD'srice down.

As a consumer I choose whether or not a price is fair. If I absolutely need (or want) a certain item and am willing to pay a premium for that it is my choice. If CTD carries the item and nobody else does, I will buy the item there. If somebody else has the item for a lower cost, then I will probably buy it there. This, my friends, is the greatness of the free market.

I can buy new Magpul 30 or 20 rd mags tomorrow for under $40 from multiple places. Heck, I've bought 5 brand new in the last 2 weeks for under $20.

No excuse for what CTD is charging for stuff.

Nope I don't read entire post if I want something that they are to high on I shop else where.. Pretty simple I was making a fact that they buy from other people and they do at times pay more for items to get products in the store.
But I do have a clue.. maybe just one but I do.
