when to buy an AR15?

i have already noticed the crazy prices dropping off and the ones that still do ive noticed dont even get offers anymore so i would wait a little longer

Turned down a $729 Bushmaster Carbon this morning at my Academy. Didn't wait in line, wasn't on a list, just happened to be there at the right time. There were 5 people on a waiting list but only one of them was there. I just didn't like the gun. They had 3 of them. If you're patient and LOOK, you'll find one.

It's not an AR-15 Casey...nice move!! I wouldn't own one.

IV had one didn't care for it I'm in the long range game shoot a Grand with my custom. 308 and hoping for two grand with my 338 Lapua that will be ready in about 4months

I have a bushy carbon ar 15. Put several hundred rounds through it thus far with no problems. Not the best made i'll grant you that. But for the price i'm happy. (B4 newtown).

I see those "brand, new, never fired" $729 Bushmasters in some classifieds for anywhere from $1500 to $1900. But like the saying goes, there is a sucker born everyday.

They'll be back to normal by summer. Same thing happened in Nov 2008 with availability but I don't remember the prices being this high. They'll come back down though. My concern would be high cap mags.
