    SWFA rifle scopes

Anyone have one or two? I've been hearing lots and lots of good things about these. The price is great and everyone says the glass is awesome.. people have been using them a lot out to around 1300 yards. The tracking is suppose to be 100% too... any info on the green screen here?

Unless I'm looking at the wrong scope(s) the prices aren't that great are they?

The super snipers are good! I'm going to try a vortex PST. I have nightforce, leupold, And Nikon now. Have had a lot of others in the past... I think after the PST I'm going to drop the coin for one of the big guys just to see what all the hype is about! Tough to swallow $3000 for a piece of glass!

Yeah 3000 is steep. But a scope is meant to be a precision instrument.. not just cross hairs in a tube. My way of thinking though I will just get the Schmidt and bender and it will last a long long time... if something happens.. send it in to be fixed. Then I still have a S&B for years after that. Cheaper scopes don't last for me... they break. This will be my first big buy scope. And if I fall in love with S&B I'll buy a few more of them.

If not I'll sell it and move on to US Optics.

I can't buy the S&B just yet though... gotta get the cash saved up some first!

Cuz - the ones I was hearing about are the $399 range... they are fixed power. You can buy a more quality fixed power scope for less money all day long when compared to variable power Scopes and their quality. And a fixed 10 power scope shoots over 1000 yards... 15 power is like Max for shooting. More power is for reading conditions... imo

                  That's a personal preference. I know a guy who shoots 1000 w the 6x

My brother has one of the SS scopes on his long range savage and while he does ring up good groups at good distances the clarity sucks.

Spend the money get good glass.

I have the super sniper on my 30-06 and love it. It hold zero very good and takes in a good amount if light too. First scope I ever owned that was fixed powered and at first I didn't like it but now I love it.

glass quality isn't as important as other things in a rifle scope... yes 6X will get you past 1000 yards.

Fact of the day - In every country in the world their military elite "snipers" use between 4X-10X fixed power scopes...

How could you possibly state this as a fact?
