I saw a complete but did not ask about stipped. I do not recall what they were asking.

Buyer beware. Check their pricing before you put down your money.

I stopped in there last week for some .45 and .380 ammo and to check on loading supplies. There was a Spikes 16" M4 LE upper on the wall priced at $799. Normal pricing is around $550-600. Didn't look at the tags on any of the complete ARs though.

Waiting on some clarification but they may be on the gouging bandwagon. I'm waiting on a phone call from the owner.

RGUNS.net is the maker. I put it on my new STI lower..I was going to build an upper but the prices and everything out of stock was frustrating...It is not a high end upper but it will work for me

Ok, I waited for an explanation from the owner of Guns + before I posted anything else. Got my reply and all I can say is, I will no longer be doing business with guns +.

Story- On Feb 7, I saw that guns + got several AR's in. I called and spoke with Jeremy. He told me they had a Ruger 556 and the price was $1599. I asked if it had the full Troy rails and BUIS. He said yes. The price fell right in line with the model 5902 which retails for $1995 and sells for $1550ish.

I gave Jeremy my CC info and said I'd be in to pick it up on Feb. 16th when I pick up my STI pistol. I arrived at guns + on Saturday about 11:30am. The place was packed and its very small. I filled out paper work and was looking over my STI pistol. I pulled the Ruger out of the case and confirmed it was a 556. There was a smaller box in the big box. I assumed it was sights and rails. I had no reason to doubt anything so I put it back in the box and cleared out since the place was packed. After the fact I determined I had a model 5912 which retails from Ruger for $1375 and sells real world for about $1075

I tried contacting Kyle(one of owners) Sun. and Mon. He finally contacted me this evening and told me that the rifle wasn't mispriced and was actually marked $200 under " market value".

I have gone out of my way to avoid purchasing anything with an inflated price. I will say, I should have checked closer when I picked it up but I had no reason to doubt anything. I got taken for about $500 from a retailer. I let myself be taken. I am warning everyone to check prices very carefully before buying. I'm not just talking about general pricing, get all the way down to the model number because there can be a big difference in price between models.

Well, I still own a really cool AR and plan on shooting the crap out of it.

Oh man. I'd be beyond mad. So he basically said tough crap huh? I was excited I could check out a new gun store close to my moms when I go visit. Not now.

Sorry about your bad deal. To me an AR is an AR and I wouldn't know the difference between any of them. Sounds like the situation could have been handled differently on both ends? So you paid for one model and took home another? Right? I'm a little confused. I have spent a LOT of $$ in there with Kyle and have sent a lot of people their way. And I will continue to do so.

I wasn't looking at model numbers. I went off what I was told it was and the price. I did not know Guns + was price gouging. The fine print came when I got home and was looking it over versus what I was told it was. Completely my fault for letting a retailer take advantage of me. All I want out of this is for everyone else to know that manufactures have not gone up on price and that some retailers have. Do your homework before you buy. If you've had good dealings with them, by all means, refer them. I am a one and done customer and will steer friends and family away from them.
