We face the same threats that police officers face. I saw where several hundred police started showing up with their assault weapons 20 min after the first 911 call, most were there within 90 min. The CT shooting.

It means absolutely nothing to me.

It is a political term made up for an agenda. I know that many people say that it is a military weapon but has the military ever told anyone to bring their assault weapon to the range for training? When they changed over to new rifles, did they say we are getting a new assault weapon?

I would like some clarification on how the function of an AR or AK is different then that of say a Remington 7400, Browning BAR, or Benelli R1. All these guns are semi automatic hunting rifles. Yes they have lower mag capacity but that does not change the function of the gun. Rounds are fired for every pull of the trigger till empty. I still do not understand how the proposed bad guns function any differently.

Come on y'all, don't you know the measuring stick for defining if it is an assault rifle or not? If it looks like a bumper jack, it is an assault rifle.

True definition of Assault rifle is select fire, capable of full auto. Used incorrectly by our leftist media and the gun grabbers.

And New York's newest assault laws are dang scary. 7 round max and you have a time limit to sell your over capacity magazines to someone out of state or can and will be charges with a crime. Heck, almost every gun I have would be illegal there. lol
