Accuracy of the 7.62x39 round?

    With right load and right gun it is just as accurate as anything else. I’ve got 7.62x39 uppers and had a x39 Ruger ranch that was consistently sub MOA with hornady 123sst. They shot 154gr Russian tulammo under 1” also…
    Now an AK with surplus Russian fmj’s isnt going ti be that accurate…. But its gonna cycle and go bang everytime you pull the trigger… just like it was designed to do

      In my Ar the most accurate round was the PPU RNSP. Very unexpected.

        7.62x39 gave us the 220 Russian which later spawned development of the 6PPC and the 6.5 Grendel. Nothing inaccurate about any of those cartridges. The hard part is finding accurate factory ammo and bullets and brass if you reload.

          I shoot the Wolf 154 grain SP in a 7.62x39 AR that I put together. It will do about an inch at 100 yes. I've killed several pigs and a couple of deer with it. The ammo works great, and the rifle has run without a hiccup since I screwed it together.
