    Appendix carry?

I picked up an appendix carry holster a while back while ordering another one from the same company. Just wanted to try it out. Not very comfortable for me. Anybody else here carry a full sized pistol that way?

For full size the shoulder holster is the most comfortable .

Not a full sized but a P365XL in an appendix holster daily. I think a full sized rig would be too uncomfortable and you do not have a lot of ride height flexibility without it digging into something north or south.

Appendix takes the most work to figure out.. Ride height, belt width, can't, wedges or pillows.. It can be done just be ready for a lot of trial and error

Tough to do for guys with a spare tire, I tried it and just couldn’t get comfortable with it pointing at my junk. Just never felt comfortable

This. My gym rat 23 year old loves it. I'm good walking and shorts sits but other than that 3-5 for me. Plus I go from double stack to single to carry appendix

I’m too fat to appendix carry . I carry about 4 o’clock . I find it to be the most comfortable for me .

Hard pass for me, I don’t want to lose what little I got left.

As others have said, I have a gut, tried it and it is not comfortable for me. I carry between 3-4 o'clock OWB.

In for the discussion. Barrel end digs in too much when I sit. Thinking of going to 4 oclock and be done with it.

Only way I carry. It can take some time to find the right holster and adjust it to work for you. My normal carry gun is a Glock 19, but i also carry a 365 Macro and all steel Commander. All in Tenicor Certum 3 holsters. I've found that going with the shortest possible gun is counter productive. A little slide length helps with tucking the grip and overall comfort in my experience. I carry the 19 in a 17 holster for that reason.

I carry a 365 2-3 o’clock. I’m not skinny but it works for me. Not quite as comfortable with a G19 but good enough for a short barrel.

I have been carrying appendix mostly for 41 years. It used to be a full size Colt Trooper III revolver when I was in much better shape.

Now being retired with a spare tire, I appendix carry with a compact.

I have tried ankle, shoulder, small of the back, 4PM, pocket and cross draw over the years.

                              I really like appendix carry, but it's a small gun for me. Usually, it's a S&W 642 or a KelTec P3AT.
