Sierra MatchKing Hollow Points 168 work like a champ for me. I have never had any issues. It is exclusively what i shoot.

My vote goes to Nosler partitions. I believe you will get a pass through even if you hit shoulder. But I would definitely bet on getting a pass through if you shoot low and just behind the shoulder.

Bonded bullets, IMHO of course, are for heavy built game animals, say mule deer on up. There isn’t an axis created that can’t be killed with a conventional bullet. What about all the moose, elk, and bear killed with a 30-30, a .35 Remington, etc. all those years ago ? Jack O’Conner killed everything in North America save for the big bears with a.270 Winchester and cup and core bullets. The last 20/30 years of advertising the latest whiz-bang caliber (and bullets) have made people think that you just can’t live without them. So far I have managed to kill everything that I have shot with a Sierra GK or a Nosler Partition and cartridges that are 50+ years old. Yeah, I know, I’m an old curmudgeon.
