Buy the red label. You can always take it to Brileys for chokes.
I'd put my money on RRL having more warranty issues than Yildiz. Loose fore ends, ejector issues, common double firing issue (mostly 12ga) were quite common. Aesthetics go to the RRL and the 20ga is a great little field gun. No secret the 12ga is bruiser. I wouldn't consider it a high round count capable choice after owning several. For the current market price people are asking (1200-1700), there are better options to be had. If it's a decent deal and being a 20ga, still would be nice in a collection since out of production.

The Rugers that I have dealt with have been solid.
I wouldn't/won't own anything Turkish, if I can help it.

Bought my Red Label in the ‘80-82 time frame. Only work I have had to do was a reblue of the receiver due to being carried all over. Haven’t shot it in probably 8-10 years other than laying 5 shoats in the dirt with a 3” mag buckshot round about 5 yrs ago.

Truth. But that doesn’t stop people from wanting them and sellers getting more than they are worth.

I had a .12ga Ruger All Weather that developed firing problems such as doubling and failures to fire. Two 3" goose loads going off at once is an attention getter ! My old .20ga Red Label has so far been a solid quail and dove gun. I have a .20ga Yildiz that I use for teal hunting and I like it also.

Bought my 20 gauge Ruger Red label in early 80’s.
never one issue. Fixed mod/full has never been a problem for me to kill a bunch of birds.
