Not to me since it’s pretty much outdated by the time it’s published. I loved people using it to sell guns back in the day when most people weren’t on the internet. I remember one instance of buying a gun for $325 (bluebook value) that was selling for around $1000 on gunbroker.

Gunbroker is an auction site. You get whatever people are willing to pay. If the blue book is one year behind...Big deal.How much fluctuation could have happened in price? I do(sell/buy) lots of local gun shows and use it. The people we buy from and sell from to are happy. Which is why I recommend it.

I'm pretty sure you can pick up gun value books at wal-mart in the gun section. I know I've seen them there before but not sure if they still carry them.
