Agreed! I too thought I could see a difference in those rings but couldn’t be sure.

I had to put a set of Burris posi align rings on a 77/22wmr to get it to zero after trying multiple scopes. I hate that it's not the look of Ruger rings but my gun shoots where I aim it now

Or ditch the dovetail and get a rail(20moa or not) and a pair of rings and see what happens.

For Tikka T3 and Tikka T3X rifles, this Vapor 20MOA Picatinny rail provides optimal ring alignment, adaptability and proper eye relief.

Maxima Horizontal scope rings from Warne Scope Mounts combine modern advances with a traditional style for a vintage look and outstanding grip.
This is what I would do. ^

I bought a new set of rings that are extra high. I'm not sure that I need the 20MOA mount at the moment. To me it would seem that less hardware on the gun converts into less places for a screw to come loose or some other failure. I'll report back results when I get it. I think I'm going to hold off on the 20 moa rail until I start to really go out far or this next set of rings doesn't work.

Thanks everyone for all the helpfulness and advice!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and I could be wrong someone needs to double check me, but if you had medium height rings(your link) and now went to extra high, I believe you will be hitting even lower and require even more vertical elevation adjustment to get a zero at 100. Essentially exacerbating the issue you were already having. Keeping the centerline of the scope as close to the center line of your bore is the key.

If thats the case, that's alright. I am chalking this up to a huge learning experience for me. We'll git r done one way or the other.

Had the same issue. My scope was Leupold. I called them and they sent shims no charge. You can also use pieces of an aluminum can. I'm not smart enough to tell you whether to shim the front or back and I wouldn't do it if it wasn't a close shot .375 H&H.

                        shim the back.

Swap the rings see what happens.

There is nothing wrong with your rifle, rings or scope. I have three Tikka's. A CTR, a roughtek and a T3. All are exceptional shooters. My T3 is set up exactly as yours, with the same rings. I'll send you a PM and we'll get this set up shooting 1/2".

Interesting , how did it come out? I have not used the Warne rings for years but never had that problem.
