What is the difference in Gen 3, and Gen 5, Glocks?

Not much really. As noted above Trigger and barrel. I actually think the Gen 5 Triggers are pretty good. I believe the recoil assembly changed between the Gen 3 and 4 which carried over the the Gen 5.
Glock still misses the ball with their crap plastic sights. I know you can get steel and night sight models if you look hard enough but those should be the rule, not the exception. I put dots on all my handguns anyways so the sights don't bother me too much.

I'm not a big striker fire guy, but just picked up a like NIB Gen 3 model 23 for $330 shipped...my other 23 I got on here is the RTF2 & there is no way to conceal without removing flesh it's so rough.
The 40 S&W isn't as popular as it once was & worth looking at if one is shopping for a good used pistola.
I think a lot of the gen changes also revolve around marketing & a way to sell more guns.
