Just peel them off slowly & take your time as it doesn't appear you have a fire sale...I would be happy to consign them, but the distance kills the deal.

Keep in mind going thru an FFL if they are in your uncles name and you want them out of his name. Hope he doesn’t have any boat trips coming up…..lots of accidents

The guns are in someones name?

RR. I have a cousin in East Texas that buys collections and can pass on his info if needed.

I will buy a collection if it’s stuff I’m interested in. Will also buy a lot out of a collection. I’m all in around 25K unless it’s got some guns I really want. Mostly like old Sako’s, Kimber, Rem, Win, Anchutz, CZ, pretty shotguns etc.

We just got the list created. 39 guns (well 40 but one is a 2 pack set of pistols). None are for sale yet. Let me know if after clicking this link you can see the pictures. We need to know approx values for guns on line 10 (m77), line 11 (model 1903), line 19, and line 9 (I'd like to buy this one maybe)

And the set on line 35 (44 and 357) Collector item?

For the smith & wesson revolvers, open the cylinder to confirm model numbers...usually next to s/n.

Don't see any pics. One of the links says something about Google Drive. I might be interested in the Rem 870 20ga Wingmasters pending if the SN ends with an "N" (designates a 3" chamber). Please PM me once you receive more info on them.

I can now see the 20ga Wingmaster. A little pic sometimes pops up. Click on it and a bigger pic opens in a new tab with zoom option. But can't quite tell about the SN. Looks to have had tape over it at some point right where the last alpha/numerics are.

Would you happen to know if it is a 3" chamber?

All I know is the info in the spreadsheet. It was hot and it took us a long time to get that info. I had to go to Temple to make the list so guns are not near me.
I'm more or less trying to get values. He's in rehab but most likely will never go back home as he can no longer care for himself. So we are being considerate and waiting for him to tell us when and what to sell.

Saw that lever action 30/30 with tag still on it is worth over $1,000 - I would have thought it much cheaper like $3-400 Makes me leery selling when my guess' are that bad!

I would check out Rock Island Auction Company website. They have fire arm auction’s pretty regularly. They list a lot I mean a lot of guns lowest price to expect to highest price. You maybe interested in dealing with them. Another place to look at in Houston would be Collectors Fire Arms. They do appraisal as well as buy collections. I would look for someone that does appraisals, I had some guns that I had appraised for insurance purposes. I would make a list of make model serial number caliber and honest condition, then look it up. I bought a Remington pump 22 octagon Barrell rifle for $75.00 in 1973. It’s valued at $750.00. Good luck
