Hey guys, joining the AR club here in a few days when I pay off the balance on my new LMT CQB Defender. I would like to put an optic that I can still use out to 100-150 yards but still use as a fast acquisition sight. I was thinking trijicon accupoint 1.5x4, or one of their Relflex sights. Anyone have any experience with these? Recommendations? Thanks

Sam, I personally don't care for their reflex sights. Field of view seems small and kind of hard to see the dot/triangle in full daylight.

IMO this is one of the most under rated scopes on the market.

Well, I ordered a 10.5" Noveske 300 Whisper barrel today.

Guess I needs to send another $200 to the guberment.

What kinda slings are you guys using?

Mostly I'll be sneakin up on hogs and stuff. I got a VLTOR rail mount sling mount with the quick release hootus, and a quick release hootus in the stock...

I use a Vickers Blue Force Gear 2 point with QD attachments.

Resurrecting the thread with a little tacticool, I'm waiting on the McMillan A5 and CDI bottom metal to be inletted but for a base unit of the SPS Tactical this is a sweet rig. This is the project I'm working on with a friend, it is going to be awesome when we get done.

That is a Aimpoint Micro T-1 on a Larue 660HK mount

Mine will look like that, well except it will be tan!
