well the wife and I finely made some for the first time. we used just the pack of cure n seasoning you get at academy. after making the hole batch i added a little extra kick to mine. all n all came out good just took longer than i thought to dehydrate it all. started at 5pm last piece was taken out at 6am. long night was get n up evry 1 1/2 hrs to pull the done pieces.

I've tried the oven method and the dehydrator method with ground jerky. Both give different results (one is drying, the other cooks it, so you get a different bite.) My next attempt will be in a electric smoker.
