Smoked Jalapeño Deviled Eggs
I hope everyone had a happy + blessed Thanksgiving!
Is it just me or has this year flew by? I swear I blinked and 2024 is almost over. One of my favorite things to make for holiday get togethers is deviled eggs. Not only are they super easy to make, but they are also delicious! This recipe is one that I go back to time and time again and can be made in advance.
I will note that if you don’t have an egg cooker, that they are worth getting one. I can cook a dozen eggs at a time and get perfect hard boiled eggs every time.
Smoked Jalapeño Deviled Eggs
12 eggs
3/4 cup mayo
1/4 cup yellow or Dijon mustard
2 jalapeños, smoked and minced
1 fresh jalapeño, sliced for garnish
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper
Smoked paprika
After I hard boil my eggs and separate out the yolks I add everything to a bowl and mix. Sometimes it takes a little more or a little less of things. How much of the diced jalapeño I use in the mix depends on their heat level. I then put the deviled part of the egg into a ziploc bag to pipe into the eggs halves.
