Funny this was brought to the top today. I've got shanks in the oven right now. I just pulled them to pull off the bone, back in the oven until supper time. I did get a little taste, and man are they good. We eat them often around here. I'll add pics at dinner time.

One of the fellas killed a deer yesterday afternoon.
The shanks went in the oven at 5am this morning.
Lunch will be served !!

From the pasture to the pot to the plate all in less than 18hrs.
These guys are skeptical…can’t wait to impress them

Had deer shanks done in the Instapot yesterday. 65 minutes cooking time. So So good on a bed of rice!
