Couple of questions please...........do you think it would hurt to exclude the liquid smoke (a little strong for our liking, may just try and cut it back a little) and also what are you using to cook/dry it? Stove, dryer, etc? Can't wait to try it.

Speaking of jerkey ... if any of you ever get the chance to eat zebra jerkey go for it, I tryed a piece and honestly it was the best jerkey I've ever tasted, there was 3 1 gallon bags of it and in 2 days 3 of us ate every piece .

I was literaly loging on to look up or post asking asking about jerky recipes. Talk about timing. I can't wait to try this out. But how thick are you cutting your pieces? Hanging or just laying on the racks of the oven?

I like mine much better with the low sodium soy sauce. Anyone have a good cajun or spicy jerky marinade receipe? I want to compare...
