only 14 years is extremely lucky. The actual odds are that it will probably take 30 years to draw. 6000+ people applying for less than 50 total mule deer tags total every year.

I was drawn for this exact hunt and location, many years ago. It was probably only the 2nd or 3rd year I'd started applying for anything and for some reason I had to back out on going ... yep, I've regretted it ever since. Can't remember but probably only had 1 or 2 points too.
Just saying, you don't need 100 points to be drawn.
